ABOUT THE ROLE

  • We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our team and for strong Store management experience for Footwear. The Retail Store Manager's overall operations of the stores to ensure our brands’ standards are maintained and continually on the same quality standards. The ideal candidate will be ready to help with a variety of duties, working on the front lines to ensure a great working environment for our retail team members and excellent service for our customers and set the pace for the team. Also, manages the P&L, to ensure the store’s contributions are meeting or exceeding targets and that store operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

JOB DUTIES

  • Responsible for the recruitment, selection, supervision, and development of the staff, Establishes sales and performance criteria. Creates programs to motivate sales to build unit sales and volume of transactions.
  • Frequent travel encompassing store visits, audits of policies and standards, managing the maintenance of store facilities, and supervision of customer service standards.
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies that are linked to successful business objectives, which demonstrates a strong return on investment that supports the organization’s ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Lead performance management and talent development initiatives in alignment with company objectives for all direct reports.
  • Manage store teams towards acceptable store operations/human resources compliance to ensure that all stores understand, administer, and interpret the store operations guidelines/ HR policies and procedures accurately.
  • Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently as per global direction and visual standards.
  • Act as a liaison between stores, corporate partners, buyers, and visual director to ensure that merchandise assortments reflect the brand strategy and stock levels are appropriate to meet the needs of the business.
  • Responsible for driving region sales and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies, consistently across all Stores.
  • Ensure that each store associate is trained and compliant with all basic inventory management/ movement/ receiving processes.
  • Consistently execute quality inventory practices with receiving, restocking, transfers, and managing inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage product inventory and merchandising standards compliant with company direction.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of operations & retail management experience. Experienced as a manager of a footwear or apparel store or flagship leadership experience in the luxury retail industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above is a plus.
  • Familiar with POS system & know how to pick the POS system vendor.
  • Knowledge of store retail practices and concepts.
  • Always maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Take accountability and ownership of actions in achieving goals.
  • Consistently demonstrate integrity in all actions and decisions.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, follow-up, and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, and as a part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintains a welcoming environment that generates customer traffic and builds loyalty by exceeding customers’ expectations. Monitors clientele to expand customer base.
  • Understands and places a high priority on visual presentation and maintenance of the in-store environment, consistent with desired image and character.
  • Protect store assets by ensuring proper security policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Perform other duties assigned by line leaders.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of operations & retail management experience. Experienced as a manager of a footwear or apparel store.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above is a plus.
  • Familiar with POS system & know how to pick the POS system vendor.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, MS Office.
  • Knowledge of store retail practices and concepts.
  • Always maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Take accountability and ownership of actions in achieving goals.
